The graph is showing the recycling rate for paper & cardboards, glass containers, aluminium cans and plastics. According to the graph, paper & cardboards have the highest recycling rate followed by glass containers and aluminium cans in order, while the plastics remain lowest. Paper & cardboards' recycling rate is getting lower by the time since 1994. Yet, other materials' rates are gradually increasing except that the glass containers' recycling rate have decreased between the year of 1982 and 1990. Aluminium cans' recycling rate showed the highest raise between 2006 and 2010 by approximately 10 percent while paper & cardboards and glass containers were increasing by 7 percent and plastics raised by 3 percent which was the lowest. Still, aluminium cans and plastics' recycling rates are under 50 pecent, recording 45 percent and 9 percent in 2010 respectively. Paper & cardboards and glass containers' recycling rate are higher than that, being 70 percent and 60 percent each.
