The chart shows the amount of men and women in further education and their studying time in Britain from 1970 to 1990. For those sectors, the considerable difference between gender and studying time was represented. In every years, it was remarkably shown that part time education was more popular than full time education. Full time education was kept surging over the time three periods. The number of women receiving part time education increased continually. However, the amount of men declined from 1000 in 1970 to nearly 850 in 1980. But it started to go up again after. The number of people getting both part time and full time education between male and female showed a huge difference in 1970, men being 1000 while women remained about 750 on part time education and men being 100 while women were only half of it. In 1990, on the other hand, females were being engaged in studying way more than before by the number of 1100 when males recorded 850. |
