My name is Dana. I am so glad to meet you! Welcome!  My hobbies include reading, painting and playing the piano. I also make jewelry. I’ve had the privilege of working with students specifically in ESL for nearly 6 years. I’ve taught students from other countries, though mostly from Korea. I’ve never been to Korea, but it’s my dream to travel there someday. In my years of teaching so far, I’ve already gotten to love hearing about Seoul, Gyeongbok Palace, Cheju Island, Busan, Korea’s rich history and the food. Most importantly, I love the people. It was during my college experience that I initially developed a love for tutoring professionally. Though most of my background is in teaching English, ESL, Writing, and Reading, I’ve also taught Philosophy, Psychology and History. My goal for all students, regardless of age is to help everyone to really enjoy English lessons. It can be difficult and I understand this. It can also be a lot of fun. I’m a kind, patient person and I enjoy equally learning about my students. I give appropriate and regular verbal, as well as written feedback. I will be happy to offer suggestions for improvement.
