My passion lies in assisting English learners as they navigate self-_expression_ in a new language, and I recognize the value of one’s native language and how culture enhances every learning experience. My educational background is in Anthropology, and I have always loved initiating connections with new people and expanding my knowledge of cultures across the world. I have 10+ years of combined experience in public education, university-level tutoring, community development & advocacy, public relations & communications, administrative support, and customer service. Because I have been exposed to a variety of work settings, I can relate to students and effectively co-create the learning goals that best serve their needs
