Hello! I’m known as Mandy Teacher to my students and I am from Nova Scotia, Canada. After graduating from university with a double major in History and Anthropology I decided to teach English abroad. I am a TEFL and TESOL-qualified teacher with over 450 hours of training. I have taught in English academies for the past 18 years and have much experience. I specialize in younger students from beginner level to advanced. I have experience teaching phonics, pronunciation, reading, and writing to young children ranging from 4 years old to 9 years old. I enjoy teaching because I firmly believe that learning should be fun for the students as well as the teacher. I also believe that students should have a safe environment to learn, grow and to make mistakes. Learning should be an adventure that opens a doorway to new interests and possibilities.
